I’m Scott Cashman, a third-generation State Farm Agent, and I’m proud to serve customers from my agent office here in Silverdale, WA. I’ve been with State Farm for about eight years and opened my own agent office in 2019, continuing a family tradition that runs deep. My father and brother are also State Farm Agents, so this work has always been part of my life. Before opening my office, I spent several years with State Farm in underwriting and leadership roles, which gave me valuable perspective on how coverage decisions are evaluated and supported behind the scenes. That experience shapes how I work with customers today, helping them prepare for what matters most with clarity and confidence. From Silverdale, I’m proud to serve customers across Bremerton, Poulsbo, Port Orchard, and the greater Kitsap County area. My office assists with Auto Insurance for everyday driving needs, Homeowners Insurance for protecting where you live, Renters Insurance and Condo Insurance for those leasing or owning shared spaces, and Life Insurance to help families prepare for the future. I also work with customers on Business Insurance, Health Insurance, Pet Insurance, and Personal Articles Insurance when coverage for valuable or specialized items makes sense. My goal is always to help people understand their options so there are no surprises later. Helping people has always been the reason I chose this path. I enjoy taking the time to walk through coverage details and answer questions honestly, because insurance should feel clear, not confusing. One of my favorite parts of my role is getting to know the people who make this area special and being involved in the community we all share. I’m originally from Gig Harbor and earned my degree in Finance from the University of Utah, where I also played baseball. Sports have always been part of my life, and I still enjoy following professional football and baseball here in the Pacific Northwest. My wife is a school principal, and between the two of us, we stay well connected to the community. We love living here with our rescue dog and enjoy supporting the Kitsap Humane Society and other local organizations through charitable events. Giving back locally is important to us, and it’s something I value personally as well as professionally.
